having just bought a new compass it states in the handbook to drain the flush wayer before driving away

Can't get to the outside toilet locker due to where the van is parked, but due to go away w/end 13th Oct so will check the flush tank before I go with a view to future draining.I will let you know how I get on.

In view of the fact that some do, some don't (empty the tank, that is) it can't be an issue over which it is necessary to lose much sleep.

I don't think anyone is losing sleep over it merely canvassing opinion.

If somone can't ask a question that they feel is relevant, then perhaps it's time to give up.

I always have water in the top tank when we set out but empty the cassette but with the wife and two kids the cassette always seems to have taken on liquid etc by the time we arrive ;O)
