Tourer Select Insurance

Any experiences with this company. They were recommended to me three years ago when bought first van.

Now have upgraded to three year old van Coachman VIP 4 Berth. Policy £295 per year. What do you think??

To be honest i hope i pay this policy for ever and never have to make a claim but in the eventuality.............

Hi Davie,

I was insured with Tourer Select for 5 years and found them excellent.

I claimed for a Avondale which was only 1 week old. It was flooded on our storage area. They allowed me to purchase a new van within 3 days of my phone call even though no loss adjuster or inspector from them had called to look at the van.

Three years later the hand brake slipped while on our steep drive and did a large amount of damage when the van hit the house wall. Once again no problems with my claim all done and dusted within a few days.

The only reason I am not with them now is that when I changed my van to a Hymer they would insure for everything apart from theft.

Top rate company in my book.

I got my caravan insurance out with them last year, they gave me the best quote. Good comunication and all done without any problems as it should be, will be renewing with them in May.
