Touring in Jersey

We would like to take our tourer to Jersey in the summer and would welcome any tips on parks, ferries etc.

Understand that Jersey didn't allow tourers until recent years. We looked at the Condor Ferries website but didn't find it very good, it kept breaking down before giving a price. Also, only had option for caravans up to 5.5mtr, but our van is about 21' which is over 6.4mtr.

Any advice would be welcome.

We looked at this option last year, and finished up not taking the 'van but seeking out an offer at a hotel instead.

Condor have two ways across, the traditional ferry from Portsmouth or the Fastcraft from Poole/Weymouth.

I think the fastcraft could take smaller caravans, but larger ones would need to go on the ferry, and that involved a 10 hour overnight crossing which we didn't want to do.

I believe that you are restricted on which roads you can take your tourer on once there.
