We sre getting a new caravan in which comes with a ALKO 2004 stabiliser. Our tow car is a Ford Galaxy which has a detachable swan neck tow bar. Does anyone know if we can get a detatchable tow ball which fits the ALKO stabiliser.
 
The detachable towball you have should be OK

I wrote to Alko a while ago about the dimensions of the bolt on ball (2 bolts)and in the reply they said that they had created a bolt on ball that gave the required height of neck below the ball and distance from the bumper to allow articulation of the coupling head.We have in effect created a bolt on with the dimensions of a swan neck was the gist of their reply
