Tow car advice / help

Hi, I am currently thinking of changing my tow car. I have 3 needs - being able to tow 1300kg, a vehicle that has a low rear cill as need to get a mobility scooter in + aged dog and to be a deisel. I have a 1998 Freelander at present and love the car but needs must and have to consider something else. Can anyone out there advise as to what would be appropriate. Thanks for looking

The tax band will probably rule out 4x4's so how about a Mondeo estate or C5 estate. If you got a Citroen with the gas suspension (I think its only fitted on certain models now) that would be great for loading the scooter in its lowered position. No doubt there will be other sugestions and maybe warnings about Citroen reliability but I have had 5 (BX and Xantia)in the past and my experiance was good.
