Thinking of buying a Vauxhall Zafira 2.2 to pull my Elldis Odyssey----would appreciate any views on this towcar------my friend says they are a bit heavy on petrol?

By accounts from other owners I've come across, the 2.2 petrol is a lovely engine and good for towing but yes, it is a bit heavy on petrol.
