Can anyone help, I have a Swift challenger 1993 470/2 which i tow with my old volvo 740 estate, i am looking for a cheap car to replace the volvo could anyone tell me if a citreon xantia estate 1.9 turbo diesel would tow it ok the wieght of the van is 1100kg max load.
 
Hi Alan - The Xantia is a popular towcar, mainly because for its diesel engine and hydropneumatic suspension. The kerb weight of the 1.9 TD is 1360Kgs and would cope with your van nicely.
