I tow a 2005 Odyssey 524 with a 2.0 tdci Mondeo (130bhp, but not estate). I don't know the spec difference between the two vans, but the Mondeo has taken us onto the continent 3 times, last year to Italy covering 3500 miles with no problems. I average 27.7 mpg towing and can get 50mpg solo. This Mondeo is a very good motor.
