We own an Avondale Pennine s GXL and currently tow with a 1998 Renault Scenic 1.9 TDI. Need to change the car any advice, we had thought of a Vauxhall Zafira 2.0tdi but none of the caravan magazines list them are they that bad. Any advice would be good.
 
Ann,the zafira due to its design, weight and running gear has quite a low max towing limit of 1050kgs. Which is why magazines dont list them, however i would say that it would tow this quite comfortabley, however it is still quite low and therfore only suited to small caravans.
