in last years TCOY the hyundai I30 /kia ceed 1.6 diesels seemed to be great for the small van. One of those, i have, 1200kg gross Bailey Disco. Has anyone towed with either the kia or I30?

I would be pleased to hear some feedback

I expect abuse for saying this,but i think tcoty and coty to be pretty much meaningless.

I would sit up and take notice if the cars on test all pulled the same weight.

Obviously the cars would still have to be grouped.

hin ray we wont debate tcoy, however the i30/ceed were towing 1200kg on test, and i am not that interested in the others.

Maybe i feel as you do about tests so that is why i have asked for some feeback

Nigel at practical caravan used to have a Cee'd 1.6d I think, but usually it was only towing about 900 kg. Perhaps ask the editorial if it ever towed a bigger van.
