Towing mirrors Advice for a 2010 Hyundia Sante Fe

I am after upgrading my towing mirrors. Up until now I have been using a set of those cheap strap on mirrors, the sort that you can pick up for around £15 but they aren’t very steady and since swapping from an old Nissan Terrano to a Hyundai Sante Fe (2010) I have decided that I need something a bit steadier. I must point out that I was given the mirrors. I have read the recent Milenco Aero thread (very amusing) and some older threads about tow mirrors already.
So any advice on a decent but not exorbitant to mirror? Pros and cons of what you use?
So far I am thinking along the Lines of the Milenco Aero/ Grand Aero or the towsure rocksteady (mentioned in one of the earlier threads on the subject). I don’t fancy the sticky on suction types or a strappy on mirror like I currently have.
I think that I would prefer flat as opposed to convex mirrors as well but I am open to have my mind changed if the evidence for convex is overwhelming.

I use grand Aeros on my 2012 Santa Fe and find them steady enough. I much prefer flat lenses to get an accurate estimate of vehicle distance. I do have a small wide angle mirror fitted to the top of the NS one to cover the blind spot and there is also a small fish-eye on each main vehicle mirror (present when I got the car). With a camera on the back of the 'van I've a pretty good view all round.

I am the same as Chrisbee, but have the Grand Aero, nice and steady, small vibration at times, and if you put them in the same place every time, almost no need to adjust, and camera on the back of the van too. Oh yes and when the mirrors retract the tow mirrors are still clear of the door windows, good on the ferry.

I use Milenco Aeros and have been perfectly happy with them.

If buying again I would get the Grand Aero.

Yup, I like the look and you chaps have edged me towards them to be honest. The cheapest I found them for was £54 for a pair with free delivery so I reckon that is the way ahead.

Another of the items that I carry in the van but never use is an old Aero mirror head, Yet again, Just in case, I wonder how much weight I could save If I didn't carry all this stuff.

Keep an eye on ebay. I've just won an auction at £40 for a pair of Millenco Aero 3 flat glass mirrors that some one was selling because of giving up caravanning. Hermes brought them yesterday in their carry bag looking like new. Well pleased with them.
