Can anyone suggest which brand/type of mirrors to go for to fit Landrover Discovery towing my Swift Ace 'van
Been using pair bought 3 yrs ago, but the rubber straps holding it over original mirror have perished and one has snapped, so resorted to gaffer tape to hold in place.
Seems rubber straps are not available to purchase separately.
Seen ones that clamp to mirror frame, looks secure. ?
Others that have suction cups to hold in place on vehicle mirror glass ?
Want decent one that function satisfactorily ?
Thoughts please.

I have gone for the Millenco Grand Aero, for my Santa Fe. about the best I have had so far, I had the Aero before, but prefered the larger mirror. You can change the angles of the arms, on the mount to get the correct position to suit yourself. I have mine fitted to the top of the door mirror with the arm dowm so the Millenco extends past the door one, Not as stable as I hoped at 60 but havent found one yet that is.

We use Milenco Grand Aero as well. Good size glass area for a better view to the rear and plenty of adjustment. They clamp to the bottom or top of the mirror frame so as long as you have a decent clearance there you should find they will fit.

Milenco grand aero for us. Been on many cars including adapted easily for a 110 defender. The new ones are slightly improved.

Over the years I've tried several but Grand Aero are easily the best and clearly are wind tunnel tested and they don't move even in the strongest sidewinds and passing HGVs. Particularly enjoy my present pair as they were a present from PCV for a little something I wrote.

......I am with RayS and Parksy, -------- I sourced mine from the same supplier. ---- But already had a set so E-bayed the new ones. (Got nearly 60 quid for them!) and guess what? A few weeks later down a very narrow Welsh lane caught my nearside one on a hedge - knocked it off smashed it, -- resulted in buying another pair off Ebay! - A bit cheaper than the ones I'd sold. So slight net profit! - PS - They fit and work very well on my Freelander2.
