Hello everyone. I have recently bought some towing mirrors form halford, which are supposed to fit almost all car mirrors, however they don't fit our 2019 Peugeot 5008 GT Line model. The way the mirrors are the towing mirrors slid off. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

A photo would be useful, but if they cannot be secured properly I would return them to Halfords. For many years I used Milenco Aero mirrors which just moved between various cars/SUVs without a problem. They are probably the mirror of choice by several very experienced members of this Forum.

On my Ford Focus the mirrors had to be clamped to the bottom of the mirror frame, while on the Tuscon they clamp on the top because of the position of the car makers glass - and on either car they have remained secure over many trips - don't know if all systems will have this option.

What special pads are these? I use Milenco Grand Aero on my 2016 Touareg as supplied without any issues.
Aero F Pads, Product code: 4664

The Aero F Pads have twin grooves for enhanced grip on typically VW group cars (Audi, Seat and Skoda) post 2013.
The oem pads snd the ones I had for the Sorento are a different profile. When the rain stops I’ll take a photo

These are my Milenco pads,
On the left Santa Fe specific, on the right Universal that come with most mirrors.

I am back to strap on models as I am not happy with the Milenco ones on my recently purchased CX5. I would say do make sure you are happy with the fit before you buy.

Following the recent request I have uploaded some pictures with the hope of finding the appropriate mirrors. Thanks in advance

No photos have come through, but it’s not really practical to advise from photos as the smallest thing can stop a good fit on one car, whereas you get a good fit on another car. The good thing about Milenco is as you will have read from some posts is that they supply various pads and parts to achieve a good fit on different model cars. Of all manufacturers Milenco have a good support line to advise the best solution. You can even fit some cars with Milenco mirros on the bottom of the cars mirrors.

A thought would be to see if a Peugeot owners forum has any advice for a 5008.

here’s a 5008 with Milenco mirrors fitted. So I’d pursue that line if enquirpy with Milenco. Their website shows their extensive product range, and spare parts are readily available which helps with fitting them to follow on cars.

As far as I read Milenco have researched most car manufacturers door mirrors and designed appropriate pads specific to each mirror.
My OEM were OK but very quickly the specific ones were light years ahead. Be careful. Car mirrors change by the year,. Check with Milenco which are the best pads for, you.
