Towing to Warsaw, Poland

OK so we are planning a trip with the caravan to our friends place just NE of Warsaw. In all its 1070 miles using the old A2 route. So what i'd like to know is;
  1. Has anyone else done this trip and if so what's your experiences
  2. How far can we reasonably expect to travel each day
  3. Can anyone recommend campsites on the way
Any help would be appreciated

TRIP TO POLAND

We are also planning trip to north of Poland with caravan this April/May/June.
We will be crossing Harwich to Hook as we will be staying for a week in Holland- 'Tulips & Amsterdam'.
We anticipate using the A2 as we plan a 2/3 day stopover near Berlin for a bit of city sightseeing; and continuing across into Poland.
We will use the ACSI guide for sites in Germany; and in Poland it seems that the PFCC has most of the sites listed although there is another website 'camping.info' that provides details of sites in EU including Poland.
Interested to know what info you may have on sites in Poland.

There are quite a few ACSI sites listed in there main website (not the camping card list). We went to Poland few years back but went from Austria into Hungary and Slovakia to it. Details on here www.joysofeuropeancaravanning.co.uk trip in 2008.
