Trauma Gas heater issue.

I’ve just bought the caravan last week, Swift Conqueror 650 lux, of course when I asked is everything working as it should I was told yes. The Trauma gas heater pilot will ignite, stay lit for 6 seconds and then go out, it tries to re ignite a few times before doing nothing more than clicking until left for 15mins when it will do the same. I’m thinking a gas supply problem? Or is there any know issues that give the symptoms I’m describing? Full gas bottle, gas hob works, valve below sink for heater is open, I’m familiar with the operation and ignition process as it’s the same heater as our other caravan which is being replaced with this one. Thanks in advance.
 
As you are familiar with the Truma space heater and its operation , your description points to a failed thermocouple.
