travel to Sitges,Spain

We are thinking of travelling to Sitges in mid september retuning end of November this year.

The concern is do we drive both ways from Calais (and which route to take over the Pyrenees)towing our van .or do we do one leg Portsmouth -Bilbao and if so which leg taking into consideration the weather over the mountains

Hi

If you are cmming via calais your best route is calais -paris,paris-orleans A10, orleans-vierzon,A71, then you have a choice of toulouse A20, or clemont ferrand A75, i prefer the A20 toulouse and then down to the coast on the A61 Ican normally do the trip in about 18 hours doing a steady 55 -60 mph.

Portsmouth -Bilbao which is about 8 hours to Sitges is a good routeall motorway A68 to Zaragoza then A2to the main AP7head towards Barcelona and exit at junction 29 for sitges

Hope this helps
