Travelling from N Ireland to Gloucester

Hi all any1 got any good advise? Gonna take caravan on a road trip for first time to the mainland destination Gloucester from ferry port in stanraer. lookin to make a few stops on the way down for a few days the gloucester for 5 days then back up again hoping to spend a fortnight all together. any site on the way down and up again or just general driving tips would be helpful. I have travelled alot with van all round ireland just not on the mainland UK.

Thx for the message Valerie but we have 3 kids goin as well so gonna be noisy and probly argumentative trip lol
 
If you need a site in Stranraer, try Wig Bay. Clean, quiet site with beautiful views up and down Loch Ryan. Looks across the loch to the Cairnryan ferry terminal.
