Truck Stop at Macon (Burgundy)

I have been recomended to have a (night)stop over at the BP truck stop in Macon, My friend says it caters for caravan and mobile homes and secure. Has any one any thoughts on this?

There's a good municipal campsite right in the middle of Macon - really convenient for the autoroute, and you'll have a much quieter night there. This section of autoroute is really busy, with traffic flying past all night - and trucks pulling into and out of the service area. Personally, in that area, I'd choose the campsite (and we do stay on Aires in other parts of France - so it's not because of any other issues).

I would second Vals comments. The municipal site at Macon is fine and we stop there a few days at a time twice a year. There is a cafe on site and a hypermarket across the road. Its just the job for a night halt
