Our fires 240v deceided to pack up over the last week , it was on 2kw and whilst the fan is ok the green light on the thermostat is off. Tried later on lower wattage and still no joy.Left it for 24 hours and tried again and it worked for about ten minuets then nothing.Any idea's to what has happened regarding what parts usually go wrong. Its 8 years young and has been working first class.
 
Normal fault on a 2001 van is that the circuit board on the back of the fire has failed.It is a common fault,I am suprised it has lasted this long.
