Truma outdoor shower

We're considering buying the external shower for our eecently purchased Swift Elegance 570 caravan however we were wondering but does this fitting provide heated or cold water?

Which ever you choose. But I would do as I have to all our caravans, and install a thermostatic supply you can then select what temperature you want.

Ah, sorry for not explaining properly. The socket is already on the van and I just need to get the shower attachment.

I think you will find it is just cold water, I have the Truma fitting on my Coachman, ok for washing the dog or the front windows.

We have had two. Cold only I think. I cannot remember how they worked as we never even tried them. May have done if we had a dog.

You only need to alter the internal plumbing feed to it. Take another feed of the Red hot water pipe and then put that and the existing cold feed both into a thermostatic valve, which can preset the temperature required and then output pipe to the shower outlet socket. I have always done the same to our caravan internals showers to every caravan we have owned,
