Truma piezo ignitor

Hi. Can anyone help agian please? I bought a new piezo ignitor for my trumatic gas fire. There is a wire with a spade connector coming from the bottom. I can see where this connects to. But there is another spade coming from the side of rhe ignitor. Can anyone tell me what this is for? Should there be an earth cable too? Thanks again in advance.
