Truma Ultraheat fault

Hi
I've had my 04 Sterling Eccles Elite Explorer since new and until last year had no heating problems at all. It doesn't have a remote sensor but we never had any problems getting the van warm and keeping it like that.
Last year it failed and I had both the 125 and 175 sensors replaced which seemed to fix it for a while - although it didn't seem to hold temperature as well as before.
This year it's failed again and having read posts here and elsewhere I believed the PCB control board to be at fault - I replaced that last week but still not working.
Symtoms etc: Green light on thermostat on at all settings and relay in fire clicks when thermostat trips - so seems ok.
Once the fire is first switched on I get a little heat for a few minutes but then it dies long before getting to much temperature (last year when the sensors failed it stayed on a lot longer and got warmer than now). Switching off and leaving 15 minutes sometimes results in it warming again as before but not always.
All fuses etc are intact/on and fine.

So - I'm a bit at a loss as to the cause of this. Could it be the sensors again so soon? Could it be the elements?

Any help appreciated.
K

Well I can now finally say this is fixed. Turned out to be a short or something like in the heater element itself. The result of this was it was frying the overstat. Took a bit of finding but after putting in a new overstat saw it was heating up and over time would fail again.

So replaced the element and now all is good. Thanks to chris at cms mobile for sorting this. K
