Truma Ultrastore Gas Problem

Water heater works fine on mains but no ignition for gas. It's been suggested that the circuit board needs replacing. Anyone had the same problem?

Start at the beginning.
Have you got gas?
Have you got 12v?
Are the isolation valves open?
Have you removed the cowl from outside?
Do you hear a "clunk" folowed by rapid clicking?
Do you have a green light on the control folowed by red?

Done all that, 12v feed, gas, etc but no clicking noise. Light is orange anbd steady. How difficult is it to replace the igniter?
