Help....please!

My water heater refuses to work on 12v using gas. I have contacted Truma who have been very helpful and have suggested checking the 1.6 amp slow burning fuse on the PCB which is intact. Not sure what to do next and would appreciate some help, Truma have suggested referal to local dealer but I am convinced the problem is something simple that I am overlooking. Thank you
 
John, I would seriously take Truma advice and get it looked at by a Truma Qualified Service Technician.

There are several things it "could" be, from spark ignitor to flame recognition probe to fixed fuse, transistor, burner module fault etc etc.
