Our 2007 caravan has had a dealer fitted external TV inlet socket addded. The wire from the exeral socket has been crudley joined onto the wire from the onboard TV aerial immediately behind the TV socket in the living area. What type of connector would be best to use instead of the "twisted together wires and insulating tape" to ensure we get the best picture either from the aerial or through the booster from EHU bollards?

if you want to join 2 coax cables together , you will need 2 F plugs and a F socket to F socket barrel , but if you can try to get one coax cable from the amp to your wall socket , the least amount of joins and sockets the better , sounds like a right bodge they done in your van
