TV Aerial

well after 19 years of caravanning i have resorted to having a Tv/dvd player,I want know to get an aerial and wondering which sort is the best one to fit,I dont want to get the omni one on the the roof nor a sat dish,so its either the stick on one with suckers or the one that fits on the jockey wheel and do i go for the traditional element one,Thanks in advance.

We have a status ariel which is attached to the van ,but we find it poor on some sites .

We bought a external UHF/T800 from Towsure fotr

the one we use is a maxiview 530 on a pole that fits via brackets onto the spare awning rail on the back of the van never had a problem with it once it is directed correctly.

and I run a laptop tv dongle with it which are notoriously sensitive for picking up a digital signals.

We have one of the Status omni-directional aerials on our Bailey and can't get a very good picture so my husband bought a cheap aerial from B&Q (

I am just about to make up a satellite kit as in this months Practical caravan got all the parts most from e bay and pound shop. Total cost so far
