Twin Electrics

Hi all, I had twin electrics fitted last year so the fridge would keep cold whilst traveling. When on the ferry for 4/5 hours does the electrics need to be disconected from the car to stop the car battery from being run down?

hi kevin leave your car connected when you turn off the engin the fridge no longer draws any currant. we usually freeze two 4 litre bottles of milk at home and find this keeps the fridge cold, do'nt forget to take little of the milk out first as it expands when frozen, for us works enen on the bilbao trip. happy vanning peter
