Yes, my fault really, so how many of us cover over there wheels and tyres when in storage, my van is kept in a covered barn and the sunlight does not hit my tyres.

I would put tyre covers on when it was in store, or when we kept a caravan at home, but not when touring. Other than when abroad, sun wasn’t really an issue😂

I suppose if the cover is big enough to cover the tyres it might protect then from some of the suns damaging UV light.. :devilish:
Unless the cover has a tyre flap which I have rarely seen, the bottom half of the tyre is generally still exposed.

I’ve always put tyre covers in the same category as Tyron bands. All talk talk and not much do do😜.I guess if you are not using the caravan year on year the UV threat is stemmed but then you’re into flat spots etc . Just another pain in the proverbial for me. New tyres every 5 years or so suits me.
