Under the caravan

Hi

I noticed that under my van it has a black coating/paint, however, one corner is looking a bit weather worn, what paint can you use for underneath the van

Thanks

I would use a bitumastic paint / protection as used for flat roofs. Messy to apply but should do the job.

You can also use the bitumastic spray sold by car accessory shops to repair underseal. That's a lot less messy to apply.

You are right Lutz but i still managed to get some in my beard !

You would be better using something like cuprinol rather than underseal, as it will trap any water that gets behind it back into the wood, & could cause it to ROT more easily......
