BEWARE!!! Before you join the so-called 'Friendly Club' ensure that your unit is acceptable to the site managers!!! My son, his wife and family were turned away from a C&CC site because their tent was deemed too large by the wardens! However, we have taken photographic details of units much larger than the 11m sq allowance for car and tent, etc. There is no mention of size restraints when joining, as far as I can see - so what is their problem? We, as two independent units (1 tent / 1 caravan) are seriously considering withdrawing our membership. We are also informing everyone (friends, etc.) we know who may be considering becoming members not to bother wasting their money.
 
hi ann it would appear that some of the site warden make up the rules as the go along but then there others who realy do bend over backwards to help thankfully they are in the majority and make your stay enjoyable cheers
