usefull freebies?

Hi everyone

Its my first post although I have always looked on the forum.

I was just wondering if anyone had ever come across a 'usefull' caravan orientated freebie? Such as a spirit level or something like that? I am just wondering what sort of things caravanners would find usefull, that is cheap enough to be given away at events or similar.

thanks

marie

Hi Marie,

I think you may find 'useful freebies' to be an oxymoron. (As in 'fun run' or military intelligence')🙂

I have a spirit level keyring freebie - minus the keyring bit - from Motorcaravan, Motorhome, Monthly magazine. 1.5" X 0.5" X 0.5". Araldited to the drawbar by the jockey wheel handle to check for fore/aft levelling. Trouble is the green liquid fades with exposure to sunlight. Be looking for a replacement soon.

You'll have to give us more of an idea about budget, and the marketing image you want to create.

My caravan came with a thetford starter pack of the two chemicals which fits underneath the cassette. I keep refilling the bottles but they're getting a bit past it now - replacements would be welcomed.

Depending on budget, you might be able to offer these:

used for setting the aerial in the right direction quickly and easily
thanks for the replies, the budget is around the keyring mark to be honest!!!, I like the idea of the spirt level and that is the idea I thought of originally, the starter pack, although a great idea, would not really fit in with the message we are tryin to get across, It would be an item from a road safety sort of perspective, in the past we have distributed ice scrapers in the winter and things like that.

how about wheel nut safety locks? the ones that give you a visual indication if your wheel nuts have come loose?
