Can anyone recommend a light weight vacuum to take away with us in the caravan. The only small ones we can find are the dust collectors, we would prefer one with the brush to hoover the carpet (not that I will be too much hoovering when we are away).

Cheap enough and bloody effective, sounds like a jumdo jet taking off............well not quite.

If your planning on splashing out you could go for a hand held dyson, then youll be sorted

I use a Halfords vacuum for the car and 'van, its powerful (they used to do two versions, go for the better one), and 12v. Not a bit like the Black and Decker flimsy rechargable one. Its got a brush too. Cheers Robin.
