Vacuum cleaners

Hi all.

Looking to purchase a 240 volt hand held vacuum for the caravan. Used to have a small Vax cleaner with a rotary brush but has now packed up. Looking for a similar vacuum. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

We have recently bought a Draper hand held vacuum cleaner which seems to be quite good. It comes with a short flexible hose and a couple of brush heads and a shoulder strap. Total cost with postage was just over

Look at the Karcher T7 advanced, cracking small machine, quiet and powerful, if you get stuck trying to find one I got mine from www.gwentpressurewashers.com ordered on Wednesday, delivered Friday.

What ever you do don't by the Dyson rechargeable, only got 6 minutes to clean the area and for

We have a Dyson and like Nigel says it only lasts 6/7 minutes between charges. However the suction is brilliant and for the caravan and dog hairs it's fantastic.

Agree very expensive and perhaps at that price Dyson should improve the time availability or at least give you some spare batteries? Oddly enough the time available is sufficient for us to do the seats and carpets.

Hi Mike

The Draper cleaner is fine. It was in connection with them sending and charging for two cleaners, not just one as ordered, taking an age to give me authority to return one of them and then insisting that the return carriage MUST be a signed for service. The cost of this was almost half the cost of the unit. Interestingly 'they' don't bother to use a signed for service for their deliveries. Worse than this, they said it was my fault that two units were delivered in the first place !

l agree with Dusty dog great suction on the Dyson, but her indoors hoovers every thing including my self lf l don't vacate the area, but still over priced for what you get.
