Does anyone have any info on the new Bi Turbo diesel engine that is coming out this Autumn. Apparently it will produce 180 BHP and will be available on the 4 wheel drive versions of the Insignia. it sounds as if this could be a great tow car. Has anyone possible kerb weights, torque figures and engine size ?
 
CO2 output would be useful too........ For those of us who have magic cars but get to line Gordons pockets for the pleasure.
 
The Opel version of the same model is already on sale here in Germany. The brochure quotes the same engine size as all the other diesels, i.e. 1956cc. Engine output is 190PS at 4500rpm, and 400Nm of torque at 2000rpm. The CO
 
I hope it will be quieter than the present diesel,getting the engines to Euro 5 seems to be a trade off in noise,the Honda Accord is the same.

I have noticed they are already heavily discounting the Insignia not a good sign for GM
