We are hoping to buy our 1st caravan in the very near future,i drive a Vauxhall Meriva 1.7CDTi with a kerb 1405kg max towing 1200kg(brakes)i am looking for a lunar van poss 3/4 berth. I cannot find any towcar reports, any hlp is appreciated thanks Alex
 
The 1200kg max. towload that you quote applies to vehicles fitted with air conditioning only if a second engine cooling fan is installed. Otherwise the limit is 1000kg.
