vauxhall omega 3.0 MV6

Looking for a replacement car to tow our Bailey burgundy and have seen a vauxhall omega 3.0 MV6 auto.Has anybody towed with this car and comments please?

Should make a good towcar but may be expensive to run.

Expect 22mpg solo on a run and about 16 towing or solo around town.

Tyre wear will be high on any Omega if the alignment isn't spot on, more so on the MV6 with ultra-low profile tyres.

Some of the routine service items like spark plugs are difficult to reach. The coolant/engine oil intercooler is known to fail prematurely. The cambelt and tensioners need changing every 40,000 miles or 4 years (according to Vauxhall's latest advice), regardless of 80,000 or whatever in the service booklet.

Thanks for this. Have you towed with this car or know anybody who has?
