Very Little Helps

Hi - I am back off my sick bed. Wife and myself have been hit with the dreaded flu virus for two weeks. I am now well on the mend but wife is no better. Any way that is enough of my woes.

In the local "very litle helps" store yesterday there was a four pack of Heinz Bake Beans selling for £2-18p. A little further on in the store was a six pack of Heinz Bake Beans - buy 4 tins and get two tins free - this was selling for £3-00p. Therefore the two "free" tins of Heinz Baked Beans were actually costing 82p. Does this cntravene Trading Standards?

Hi Colin, glad to hear you're feeling better, not so good news about your wife.....still, as you're better now, you can look after her well!

As for the baked beans.....perhaps you should ask our mutual friend!! ;-)

Hi Colin

Just think of all the extra CC points they'd give you on the six pack.

Cheers

It is cheaper to buy some of the beer they sell in smaller packs than the 12 & 18 packs, look at the Tetley bitter
