very poor experience at bron-y-wendon

just back from a week at this site far to many vans in a small area children let wild on bikes running past caravans and cars when mentioned to wardens they said it is not there problem its the parents to blame no where on the site for children to play pitch was far to small not allowed to put waste or fresh water containers on grass booked a awning pitch not big enough to put up properly asked if we could shorten it for all this we payed twenty three pounds a night three pounds extra for a awning pitch

unfortunately bob this experiance is not unusual in the uk at this time of year, we have had some great holidays on a site on the isle of white in thorness bay but we only go in low or mid season, if you check out some other peoples replies to the site then you will find theire comments are far from favourable, the same on a site in cornwall called hendra, we have had some great holidays on site in low and mid season but when my sister went in august it was an absolute nightmare she hated it and came home early. it appears that despite site owners giving fairly good service in low and mid season they really dont seem to care when it comes to the school holidays since they know that people have no choice but to use them. unfortunately for the site owners we do now have a choice, due to the reasons above we decided this year to try going abroad with the van, we where quoted nearly six hundred pounds to stay in cornwall this year for two weeks and it only cost us
