Vets in Santander

Am taking my cat to/from Spain via Santander. Looking for a vet who will be open Saturday afternoons after 1530 or will open Sundays or who will 'cook the books' and put a different time in the passport as we will be sailing on the 1630 to Portsmouth on a Monday. Have found two vets on the Brittany ferries website and one has replied saying they will open on a Sunday for 30 euros and will also charge 25 euros for the pet passport service making 55 euros overall. Is this a price I will hvae to pay or has someone found a friendly vet out there? Probably too much to hope for since its agreat way of making double the money for the same job!

We pay _50ish for a Cavalier King Charles for the tick & tapeworm treatment & the stamp in Benidorm he also fiddles the stamp dates & times to get us on the Santander ferry.

Thanks Russell but we're coming north via Portugal, not the east coast of Spain. Maybe your info will be good for someone else.

We had arranged for a vet in Torralevaga to do our Dog on a Sunday, when they were in to look after their weekend stays anyway. no fiddle necessry.

go to Pagenas amorillas ( the spanish yellow pages and search for Veterinario, in torralevaga, cantabria, for namesand addresses. Brittainy ferries hen cancelled the boat and we evenually sailed from St Malo but thats another story.
