I have just bought a vintage Eriba caravan and am now beginning to wonder if the age I was given is correct (1979?). My estimate is that it is maybe a 1987 model or at least somewhere in the 80s.
The VIN plate details are:
VGNpanfam00255289
Unladen weight: 690kg
Laden weight: 850kg
Nose weight: 75kg
The Panfam part of the Eriba suggest it is an Eriba Pan Familia but there is nothing on this plate (near the door) that gives away the age. I have read various forums. These suggest things such as looking at another plate on the chassis to other plates on internal cupboards (non existent!). There is indeed another plate on the chassis but it does not seem to indicate the age at all. Would appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks.
