After years of getting wet,cold & uncomfortable tenting I've decided to become another thorn in clarksons butt & buy a caravan.I don't want to buy brand new just in case it doesn't suite us.I have a max of £3k to spend & am looking for a five berth tourer. I would be grateful for any tips on buying second hand.Thanks

Welcome to the great hobby of caravanning.

If you have cash and take your time you.ll find your caravan,go around as many dealers as you can don,t be afraid to barter as cash in the hand is a great bartering tool,don,t be afraid to walk away if you don,t get what you(pricewise) want when you have found your right caravan and if the dealer is hungry for cash he,ll come very near to what you want to pay then just keep at him till your happy.The very best of luck to you and happy caravanning.Jim
