Volvo Tow Ball

I am thinking of having the Volvo detachable tow ball with my new V70, will this be compatable with Alko hitch on my 2011 Luna.

Yes it will be compatible.
I presume you will be getting the wiring done by them at th same time?
If so make sure you telll them you want the 13 pin socket FULLY wired, otherwise you wil have no battery charging to the van or fridge supply.

Thanks mark I will remebber to do that, seems a little stupid for them not to fully wire it though.

It is a Thule towbar and removable towball. One thing I don't like with my 2010 XC 70 is that the caravan lights all come on with the cars lights. It does not matter which of the 3 positions the car switch is in as the van lights up in all 3. Looks like Blackpool Illuminations when out on the road. It would have been better for the car to have separate day running lights. I have heard that there is a mod that could be installed (not official) but with the cars systems on a bus and with so much remote monitoring as well as 12 monthly software upgrades I think I will live with 'Balckpool on the move'!
