Vulgarity

I think that some of the jokes on this section of the forum are a bit over the top regarding vulgarity and should be removed. I may be classed as a grumpy old codger but there is s a time and place for every thing. No one enjoys a joke more than me but in the right place at the right time and I think this forum is neither the place or the time for this type of toilet humour.

All I ask for is respect for your fellow country man/woman. I would not expect the form of vulgarity as of late. I certainly would not tell that type of joke to my wife or female friends out of respect for them. It is more suitable for the pub bar.

I agree with Colin. I enjoy rude jokes, and I exchange a wide range of jokes with friends and acquaintances. BUT for each item I think first, and only forward to those who I think will find it funny. When you post a joke to a public forum you don't know who might read it. For instance, kids can access this site.

I think that the two jokes are unsuitable for this type of site. I'm not picking on anyone, just highlighting two recent postings. No doubt this will stir up loads of debate, but we have to remember that not everyone will find everything funny.

That's life.

I agree with Mike, somewhere you have to draw the line and those two jokes overstepped that line IMHO. This is a public forum. I'm far from a prude Mark but its demeaning to all women. Sorry but when I read them I cringed and was expecting a backlash but the ladies have shown a lot of restraint in my mind by not responding. They are the kind of jokes you tell to your mates down the pub or maybe email to them but they are out of place on here. Sorry mate. :O(

Lord B I've noticed on a few occassions where you have agreed with me. I have no objections to this - possibly we may be of a similar mind and outlook. As far as the pills are concerned I think that you will find the Viagra pills are for some totally different medical conditions -I may be wrong though.

"we all do something eventually that takes us beyond where we should go :O)"

LB, care to elaborate?? Sounds like a few good stories hiding with the skeletons there!
