Hi

I am looking for a tow car for my elddis avante 524 would a vw touran 1.9tdi be a good match. The mtplm of the caravan is 1300kg

will the car have the power to tow with ease

Alan, I've got a 2.0 TDI Touran, and tow a Swift Challenger 540, 1500 Kgs., with it, and even though 1500 is right on the car's limit, it tows it effortlessly.I've been to Italy twice with the 'van on, as well as numerous local trips, and the car has been superb.

Previously, I had a 1.9 TDI Golf, and towed a 1300 Kg. Award Daystar, and it too was superb.

So, to answer your question directly- "yes, no problem".
