If they are unregistered what’s the problem? If it’s registered then obviously the registree will have to contact Alko to de register it.looked at them both, e bay ones not registered.
Doesn't work that way as ALKO require the previous owner to de-register it and not the new person trying to register it. Even then it is a real hassle. Went through that process about 2 months ago when we sold our caravan. A lot simpler not to bother registering the lock.If they are unregistered what’s the problem? I think that’s what I said. Billy boy said ebay ones were unregistered. That’s why I said “if they are unregistered what’s the problem”.Doesn't work that way as ALKO require the previous owner to de-register it and not the new person trying to register it. It was the part where you stated "If it’s registered then obviously the registree will have to contact Alko to de register it." that I was replying to. The registree could be the new person or the person to whom it was registered previously.I think that’s what I said. Billy boy said ebay ones were unregistered. I’ve had to go through the process by buying pre owned lozenge and a pre owned lock.
