Having bought a new van with Alde heating and grade 3 insulation ,am i wrong in expecting my bathrom to be as Luvly and warm as the rest of the van! After speaking to Alde they told me i should achieve the same comfort in the bathroom.
What dose Grade 3 insulation mean in simple terms ?
How warm is your bathroom ?
Do you have a towell rail or just the Alde type convector radiator type in a boxing at skirting level and does it keep the bathroom as warm as the rest of the van?
It seems a lot of people are having to fitt electric Towell rails, reading on the Swift forum! but i think they have the Blown Air system.

The early Bailey Valencia had cool bathrooms.
The heater size was increased on later models.
But the towel rail is only a single pipe take off, if you know what i mean.
I have noticed that ALDE now show a proper radiator on the web site, so maybe fitting one of these will sort your problem.
To be honest though we still take a fan heater, this gets a cold caravan warmer quicker, and gives me the tropical temperature i like when having a shower.

Judging by your picture i presume you have an Elddis Crusader?
These have a small fin rad underneath the towel rail. This is quite small for the area to heat as the living area they are much bigger. It will not get as hot/warm as the living area but it is not cold.
Leave the bathroom door open when not being used and this will help.

We have the 2012 spec bailey unicorn madrid with the alde heating. The end bathroom is a little cooler than the rest of the van even though the towel rail gets so hot you can't touch it.We combat this by leaving the bathroom door slightly ajar and the heat from the radiator at the side of the entrance door seems to help warm the bathroom. We used this method successfuly in in minus 6 degrees at the weekend.
