We use both regularly. We originally started with Warthill Grange, a lovely established site, set around a pond, alongside woods. Nice in summer, bit boggy in winter. Owners, Tim and Michelle really nice, but has been getting more than 5 vans on in recent months. Occasionally have rallies on.

Meadow Farm is a newish CL, completely flat and lacking a bit a shrubbery and decor. Pitches well spaced. Never been full on a visit so far but working really hard to make a good CL. Owner Mrs Simpson very nice too. Electrics points well spaced, but quite a distance from water/waste. Word of warning, if approaching from the A64 you need to swing wide into the site and make sure you open both bits of gate as we got caught out the first time we visted (although it was in the dark - January).

Both sites are 5 minutes away from the Monks Cross park and ride into York. We always take bikes and cycle into the centre of York, but either way is good. Nice farm shop/PYO down the road to Stamford Bridge, and a variety of pubs for eating in the surrounding area.

Both recommended.
