John there is a strain of sheep which has originated in Wales just the same as there are cattle - eg Welsh Blacks. We also have our own cattle dogs - the Pembroke and Cardigan Corgi. We don't need your sheep coming over the border contaminating our pure bred flock. The English sheep are like their owners a bastardised race.

Ha, ha, I'm imagining a "Velvet" invasion caravans in tow - dealing with the "reprobates" round a barbeque with a nice glass of red, shortly after getting them to help you pitch up and sort out that pesky awning.....

As long as they bring their own vans, awnings and wine as well as the barbeques with food.

when I read the comment threads I note that the saber rattling Colin is in fact quite happy to sell his birthrite to the first invader who brings wine, food and a barby.

Yes,

Maureen married a Scot, who was forced to England in the days of National Service!! However, still together after 43 years, and by the way,it was my birthday today.Isn't it nice that the Irish always hold a parade for me ??) and I have NEVER found any antagonism towards me for being English ( not to my face anyway )

Norfolk Mike - how on earth did you get the impression I was willing to sell my birth rites for wine and food. This is a tactical ploy - we get you fed and wined (beer for some English peasants) and when you appear full and intoxicated it will be far easier for us then to overthrow you infedals. Bah humbug to you east of Offa's ****. Just think how you were overthrown in the film Carry On Up the Khybah Pass

How on earth has this posting digressed from washing up on site to mass warfare between the Celts and others and also football? We must be a crazy bunch on this forum.

I am on blood pressure and cholesteral tablets - So far they seem to be working for all aspects except my spelling - They don't seem to be 100% foolproof for that. Does anybody know and can recommend any tablets to cure my poor spelling? English grammer not much better either.

Colin, know how you feel, always the same with me when writing in the foriegn. Red wine helps, doesnt improve the spelling but it does not seem to matter as much.

Now back to your previous post. Are you now suggesting that its to be you who is to ply us with drink, if so can I have it in writing as that bit of land near the Bristol Channel is a long way from Norfolk.

Norfolk Mike - what are you thinking of - I will defiately NOT be supplying any wine or food - that is for you lot to bring with you. Next thing you be expecting me to wipe your backside and then tuck you into bed and read you a bedside story. (Mind you it could be how the Welsh overthrew the infedels hehehe).
