Hello there,Really newbie question,Am I right in thinking the blue removable cartridge above where I plug in the water pump pipe is the water filter and if so where can I get a replacement?- the caravan is our first and its a Abi Quartz 600EB -Thanks John
 
Yes it is the filter. You should get one from any caravan shop or there are generally some on e-bay. Last time I bought one I was told they were going to stop making this type of filter although the caravan shop did not know when so I bought three to see me through a couple of years. When I asked what I would do if they became no longer available I was told the housing would need to be changed. I did not look into it any further until the time came!

It is the filter - called a 'Carver 3'. They are available from some dealers or on-line at O'Leary's

However, this filter had problems (I think it tends to split) and so they discontinued it and replaced it with the older 'Carver 2' model. The blue Carver 3 filters will therefore get more difficult to get hold of. The best thing to do (as I did) is to replace yours with the Carver 2 filter and housing - approx
