anyone got any ideas why my cold water is running slow,i have had the van apart looking for kinked pipes but nothing.the hot water is brill but cold quite slow we run off a submersible pump and its the same with my spare pump.help.

Many caravans were fitted with the Carver Crystal system. Some used the facility where the water supply could be split so that only the cold taps were supplied with filtered water, and the hot used water direct from the water container.
If your system was plumbed like this I can think of two possible cuases for you symptoms:
The filter which only affects the cold taps may be blocked and need changing, or the non return valve fitted in the outlet of the filter may have jammed. In either case the hot water will flow freely, but the cold my be restricted.

We are experiencing a similar problem. Easter weekend we braved the snow and set off. All taps flowed freely to start with then the kitchen taps reduced to a dribble, both hot and cold. The shower, bathroom taps and outside shower all work OK. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? (2000 Elddis Crusader Sirocco)
Hi Folks, Had this problem on a job this week, the water inlet was a crystal compact, the non-return valve was blocked with algea on the water in side, the algea was forming inside the Blue water supply pipe, cleaned the pipe and non-return valve, problem solved.
